Hugh is Head of Development at Telis Energy UK, part of a pan-European renewable energy platform backed by global investment firm Carlyle. A Chartered Surveyor with nearly 20 years’ experience in the low carbon energy sector, his career spans some of the UK’s most complex energy programmes — including senior roles at Dalcour Maclaren and as Head of Land and Property at EDF Energy, where he worked across the Hinkley Point, Sizewell, and Bradwell nuclear new build programmes. Hugh brings deep expertise in land strategy and consenting, with a practical understanding of what it takes to deliver large-scale projects from origination through to construction.
