Shimon Shoshani
Co-Founder and Commercial Director Plugyy Energy Solutions
Shimon is the co-founder and Commercial Director of Plugyy Energy Solutions. Plugyy develops, installs and operates solar energy, battery storage and EV charging for businesses, communities and the public sector.
Until 2022, Shimon was Europe’s Head of Distributed Energy for Marubeni (one of Japan’s largest general trading and investment companies) where he started up and led the distributed energy business, supporting companies and Cities with their energy transition. Previously, he was the UK head of onshore wind at Statkraft and has also held various technical, commercial and development roles in companies in the UK and abroad.
He holds a BSc in Electrical Engineering and MSc in Renewable Energy.
