At Apatura, he leads market expansion, optimises grid-connection portfolios, and shapes long-term strategy to align with the UK’s transition to net zero. Before joining Apatura, David held senior roles at the former National Grid Electricity System Operator (ESO), including Head of Connections and Head of Market Operations, which gave him deep expertise in integrating major energy infrastructure projects with networks and markets.
