Dr Zekun Guo

Dr Zekun Guo is a Lecturer in Electrical Engineering at the Data Science, Artificial Intelligence and Modelling Centre, University of Hull. He serves as the Entrepreneurial Lead of Energentic, a commercial project developed at the University of Hull.
His research focuses on AI-driven optimisation and control for energy systems, with particular expertise in load flexibility, demand-side management, and data-driven energy system planning. Dr Guo has led and contributed to several UK innovation and knowledge‑exchange projects and is the founder and technical lead of an AI-enabled energy optimisation platform.
