Eleanor Warburton
Director for Energy System Design and Development Ofgem
Eleanor is Ofgem’s Director of Energy System Management and Security, a role that spans energy markets, charges and system operation at national and local distribution level. Eleanor has worked on a range of roles across Ofgem, most recently the radical evolution of the electricity system operator towards the consumer interest future system operator. Eleanor joined Ofgem in 2016, from the Department of Energy and Climate change where she led on aspects of energy security and international energy engagement. This followed a range of jobs in a number of central government departments to support the counter-terrorism and preventing extremism agenda.
